A PAIR OF FLOOR STANDING NEOCLASSICAL COLUMN LIGHTS BY ANDRE CAZENAVE
A PAIR OF FLOOR STANDING NEOCLASSICAL COLUMN LIGHTS BY ANDRE CAZENAVE
Bagnara Di Romagna - Italy, c1970s
Super rare and super ironic, a highly collectable and wonderfully architectural pair of 1.7metre high colonna floor standing lamps by French designer André Cazenave with production by Italian fabricators - Singleton. Designed as a confluence of sculpture and ambient lighting, the resulting glow from a vertical and replaceable internal neon strip fills the cast form beautifully with low and hi-light detail. Made of textured fibreglass reminiscent of a warm limestone hue when not lit, original stamp to bottom. Period Casa Vogue, highly collectable avant garde design. Both recently rewired and tested in the UK.
