Petite armoire with elegant and striking design, beautifully made and proportioned of cherrywood - in the style of Maxime Old. The doors punctuated by six studded circular panels, the cylindrical uprights animated by regular interspersed circles, forming four sheath feet. Wonderful patination and colouration.

About: Maxime Old (1910–1991) was a French interior architect and furniture designer. He is known for his numerous works of art, and as forerunner of the transition from the style of the 30s to modern design. He is particularly known for his elegant transformative pieces of furniture.
